blather and Buffy
Dec. 8th, 2006 10:27 amThis morning's happy discovery: The car dealership, where I'm currently waiting for my car to be serviced, has free wireless. They even have handy little cubicles in the waiting room, where I can plug in my laptop. This makes the hour-plus wait much, much pleasanter.
This morning's unhappy discovery: It was 4 degrees out when I woke up. 2 hours later, it had risen to a balmy 5. Mind you, a week ago, it was 60. *sigh* Also, the snowplow vanquished our mailbox during the night. Not that I had any particular affection for our mailbox, but it was a handy thing to have, and now it is no more. And I didn't have time to do anything about it this morning. I see a trip to a hardware store in my immediate future.
But leaving aside these real world issues, look! Buffy icon! ( And Buffy squee! (With S5 spoilers.) )
On other fronts, I am sorry to report that I have been neglecting work to serve the Plot Bunny of Doom (see previous post). Which is very bad of me. But I am in its thrall.
