Today is great because...
Oct. 25th, 2008 04:45 pm...the Slinky, Jr. slept for 7 SOLID HOURS last night, and so did I;

kassrachel is the awesomest person in the history of ever, and registered us both for Muskrat Jamboree (since even with 7 hours' sleep I was still too out of it to have any chance of remembering to register for my own self);
...not only did Slinky, Jr. sleep like a champ, he's even been calm enough today that I've done laundry, washed dishes, paid bills, and looked at the internets;
...and looking at the internets has revealed that a great many people I adore will also be at MJ in the spring! Which is such a happy thought, and will seriously help sustain me on days when the behbeh is not being so agreeable. Yesterday, for example. Boy howdy did yesterday suck. But yesterday is over, and now it is today. \o/
(On a totally separate note, but I suppose it's still a fun thing about today, I've been watching a lot of Doctor Who recently, which allowed me to fully enjoy today's post at CakeWrecks. I'm not sure if the score should be construed as bakers 5, Daleks 0, or the other way around. But either way, it's a hilarious post.)
