COGNITIVE DISJUNCTION AAAAARRRHH
Nov. 7th, 2007 04:53 pmI am currently on hold with the Disney corporation. Because my family has decided to take a vacation at Disney World in March (my Mom, once a year, bribes us all to get together by having us spend 4 days at a resort on her dime), and I need to adjust the dates of our reservation. I have been on hold for at least 20 minutes. Disney's hold music, unsurprisingly, is random songs from random Disney movies.
And I'm sitting at my desk, on hold, so -- as one does -- I've been web-browsing, which somehow leads me straight to reading porn. Specifically, Veronica Mars porn, because I watched all of season 1 in the last 5 days, and that's just where my mind is at. (And is it my imagination, or is Logan Echolls a decent stand-in for the young Lex Luthor? It makes me want to see crossover AU fic in which Lex and Logan meet in prep-school, or something.)
But anyway, I've been doing this for the last 20 minutes or so, and I've only just twigged to the fact that I'm sitting here reading angsty Veronica/Logan smut while listening to "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" and "Bear Necessities" and similarly chirpy songs. I think my brain is about to explode.
Note to self: Multi-tasking is not your strong suit. DO NOT ATTEMPT.
