Thing-in-progress. TIP?

Holy crap, it's Wednesday. How'd that happen? And here's me with no completed Thing to post, though I've had lots of ideas. I've been doing other stuff, though. And right now I don't have the wherewithal to sit down and write something new, not even a drabble.

But. There's a Thing I started working on. I don't know if I'll ever finish it, because that would require putting some serious thought into plot and what to do with all these damn characters. (This thing is a crossover between two ensemble shows. Most of my stories involve only two characters. And here I've got potentially ten or twelve running around. That is a LOT of people to keep track of.) But I like the beginning. So I'll post that. And maybe one of you will have some ideas for where to go next.
