I really want to go to MJ again in the spring (I mean I *REALLY* want to go; I don't think there's a typeface emphatic enough to express this) but have just realized that I'm going to be away from home and possibly without net access this weekend, which is when registration happens.

Is there anyone out there who's planning on going who'd be able to sign me up as well? The concom helpfully explains in this post how registration sharing would work.

I will happily repay the favor with fic in the fandom of your choice (provided I'm familiar with canon, of course).
