SPN? Huh.

Once again I've been absent, though this time I've actually been absent, as in, out of town for a week. So if I've missed anything noteworthy, please fill me in.

And I need to start by saying a big thank you to the kind people who left messages for me at svmadelyn's Valentine's Day thing. I was able to see them, though not respond to them, while I was away, and they made me feel all warm inside. You guys are awesome.

But on another topic entirely, there's something I have to ask. I was in a hotel room last Thursday at 8pm, and I wanted an hour of entertainment, so I turned on the tv thinking I might catch SV. (I still haven't seen any of this year's SV episodes, and I gather I should. I'll get on that, I swear.) Except I was in Arizona, so I'd missed SV; instead, SPN was just starting. I saw the pilot of SPN way back when, so I'd had some sense of who Sam and Dean are, and the universe they live in -- enough to enjoy the occasional fic. But the pilot was gory and scary, and I don't like gore or scariness. When you got right down to it, the pilot also seemed like a goofy show about two pretty boys, and while it had some charm, I was already into a goofy show about two pretty boys and didn't need another. So I left it alone.

Last Thursday's show was a whole other ballgame, though( and I'm cutting for spoilers. )
