(I'm posting this announcement in a couple places, so my apologies if you're seeing it twice.)

Okay, so the Thing-a-Week plan kind of got derailed, which is a bummer but so it goes. Meanwhile, though, I have actually been making Things, just not with words. I have a new addiction: beading. Making jewelry is surprisingly satisfying, and unlike writing, it doesn't require sustained concentration, making it much more compatible with baby-care.

Anyway, I've finally gotten around to setting up an Etsy store, the aptly titled Emily Procrastinates. So if you feel the need for any new pretties, or just want to browse, do take a look. I've got this mad ambition that my beading habit could come to support itself (which is certainly more than I can say for my writing habit).

Here endeth the announcement. :-)

Ooooh, pretty!

Will you be bringing any of these to MJ? (Or might you, if asked?) I think the bracelet is calling my name.

Thanks! I'd been contemplating bringing a box o' jewelry to MJ, in the hopes of selling some there. Wasn't sure if that might seem inappropriate.

But whether or not I bring the whole store (seems silly calling it that when it fits in a smallish box, but whatever), I can certainly bring specific pieces. If you know for sure you want something, let me know and I can take down the Etsy listing just so nobody else gets it.

I don't think it would be at all inappropriate to bring shinies to MJ :-).

And I think I really do want "A Touch of Funk." I've been coming back to it all day.

It's yours. :-)

If you get a chance in the next few days, measure your wrist, or else a bracelet you already have, to make sure 7.5 inches is a good size for you. If you want it larger or smaller, let me know by how much and I can resize it before MJ.

Oooo! Those are lovely pieces. :) I used to spend a lot of time making beaded earrings out of sead beads and went through a period of macrame jewelry. lol It is fun and a wonderful creative outlet. :)
