Getting to know you...

So, uh, I just looked at my profile page for the first time in a month or so, and Hello! I seem to have acquired a bunch of new friends. Which is a lovely happy feeling, and welcome to my LJ, everybody. A few of you I already knew, or at least knew of, but many of you I don't think I've ever seen before. If you'd care to comment and introduce yourselves, or say how you found me or anything of the sort, I'd be delighted to get to know you a bit. If you'd prefer to lurk, that's fine too -- as you may have gathered from my username, I'm entirely sympathetic to lurking.

But anyway, I'd said a while ago that I was thinking of throwing myself a little LJ-warming party, now that I've unpacked, as it were. So I'd like to extend the invitation to, well, everybody, whether you're new to my LJ or have been around since my first very shy posts or anything in between. Comment and tell me something about yourself!

But what?, I hear you ask. Well, here are a few questions to break the ice:

- Got a favorite moment in SV? What is it? What do you love about it?

- Tell me something you love outside of SV. Favorite movie? Favorite author/book? Favorite musician? What attracts you to whatever/whoever you've named? I'm curious.

- Tell me something about where you live/where you're from. What does it bring to your life?
